Feeding Routine

Morning Feeding Routine (6:00 AM):

Every morning, we start our day with a nutritious meal for our horses. This meal consists of 2-3 kilograms of fresh grass and access to clean water. This natural breakfast sets the foundation for a day of riding and physical activity.

Morning Feeding Routine (10:00 AM):

As mid-morning approaches, we provide our horses with a more substantial meal to sustain their energy levels.

  • This meal includes:
  • Boosa (a nutritious blend): ½ kilogram
  • Lever stock: 400 grams
  • Barley: 1.5 kilograms
  • Corn: 1 kilogram
  • Black Salt: 50 grams
  • Himalayan Bathisa (Powder): 50 grams
  • Beetroot Feed: 300 grams

This well-balanced meal ensures that our horses receive essential nutrients, including proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals, to keep them strong and healthy.

Lunchtime Nourishment (1:00 PM):

To keep our horses energized throughout the day, we offer them a second serving of wet grass, amounting to 3-4 kilograms, along with access to fresh water. This midday meal helps maintain their hydration and sustains their stamina for afternoon activities.

Evening Repast (6:00 PM):

Just like in the morning, our horses enjoy a meal similar to what they had at 10:00 AM. This repetition ensures that they receive a consistent and balanced diet throughout the day.

Night-time Sustenance (10:00 PM):

Before bedtime, our horses are provided with a final meal consisting of:Grass – Corn, Sugar Cane, Dry Grass and Water This night-time snack helps them maintain a steady intake of nutrients, even while resting, to support their overall health.

Grooming and Cleaning Practices

Proper grooming and hygiene are essential for the well-being of our horses. We follow a meticulous grooming routine to keep our equine companions looking and feeling their best.

Morning Grooming Session (6:30 AM):

Face Massage:

We start with a gentle face massage to relax our horses and create a bond of trust and affection.

Body Brushing:

Brushing the horse's body helps remove dirt and loose hair, promoting a shiny and healthy coat.

Hair Cleaning (Oil Brush):

This step involves using an oil brush to keep the horse's mane and tail smooth and tangle-free.

Hoof Cleaning:

Clean hooves are crucial for a horse's mobility and comfort, so we pay special attention to this area.

Grooming the Horse:

Finally, we give our horses an all-over grooming, ensuring they are clean, comfortable, and ready for a day of riding.
